In a race devoid of pace Onnea will be prominent. NISHINO TENKAFUBU (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1500m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. STAR KOMACHI (5) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 2000m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. ONNEA (6) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1200m at Funabashi after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. YUYU PRESENCE (3) last appeared when she finished seventh over 2000m at this track on April 25. Now under the care of new trainer Tamotsu Yokoyama. Sure to make her presence felt.
