Moderate tempo expected with Where's My Lunch likely to find the front over Leetron and Full Of Merit. Open. COSMIC ECLIPSE (7) has the ability, but has given away big starts at her last two. Peaks today, and the blinkers are applied for the first time. She draws wide again, but Pike has been with her all along and is particularly potent linking with the Williams stable. The extra metres will suit and she deserves another chance. RUN PATTIE RUN (6) ran her best race, beaten 1.8L here over 1200m. Gives every indication the step-up to the mile will suit, and she may be able to sit a bit closer today. SNIPPY SEAN (3) would win this at best, and winning rider Chris Parnham is engaged today, replacing the 3kg apprentice. Has an awkward barrier, but it won't surprise to see a much sharper effort. LEETRON (2) led and won at Scarpside and then tackled hotter than this at Pinjarra and found it a step too far drawn wide. He will be fitter in easier company and can be back riding the speed. Promising and keep onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Cosmic Eclipse.
