GOING: S(7)

PRECISE AIR HANDICAP 1200m

Track: Soft 7   Rain (Max: 18)   Rail: True. (Pent: 5.55)

In the small field From The Peak and Miss Jones are expected to take up the running. TRIPLE TWO EIGHT (8) settled back in the field then made good ground to finish third on debut to subsequent Saturday winner Tomato Toastie over this trip at Warwick Farm three weeks ago. Should learn a lot from that experience and will be hard to stop in an open race. FROM THE PEAK (3) raced handy but may have found 1100m a tad sharp when resuming here last time out. Better placed this time and gets a key gear change so watch for a far better run. MISS JONES (2) started favourite but after getting back in the field missed the placings over 1100m here last start. Gets in well after Stanley's claim so should be thereabouts again. MILK FOAM (9) can improve after a moderate debut at Warwick Farm. MILITARY LEGEND (6) and BEVERLY HILLS (4) are first starters who have been well found in early markets and look ready to acquit themselves well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Triple Two Eight to win the opener.
