Cracking tempo with Prankster and Mamas Baby leading the way. TERIYAKI (9) should have finished closer to the winner last start as he shifted outwards in the straight. He takes a drop in class and the 4kg claiming apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto retains the ride. If keeping on a straight line, he can return to winning form. PRANKSTER (8) was an easy winner of her last start over this course and distance. She showed good speed, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. She is in a good space and she should give the males a decent run for their money. WILLOW GEM (7) is a 2yo filly taking on older rivals. She was her own worst enemy in the Listed Ridgemont Devon Air Stakes last time as she over raced in the early stages. She has ability and cannot be discounted. NOW I GOT YOU (3) has consistent form lines to his credit. He stayed on well when third over 1400m last time. The 4kg claiming apprentice Dezahn Louw steps back into the saddle and the combination can't be ignored.
