Solid tempo with Maxildo leading from Burning Bright and Chartin. Tricky little race. MAXILDO (4) has found a nice patch of form and there's no reason to think he can't hold it here. He's a versatile horse and he's drawn perfectly for Opperman to give him every chance. He can win again and any rain will only enhance his chances. JAMROCK (10) keeps racing well in these types of races and must be included. BURNING BRIGHT (8) is building towards another win, last time out finishing third over 1700m at Gawler. Back in grade and well worth consideration. COWLEY'S CREEK (17) and CHARTIN (9) both need to find a length or two but they can be included in wider plays as can SACRED KENSHI (7). SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Maxildo to win.
