Moderate tempo headed by Just Go Bang. SLY BOOTS (3) has contested Saturday races at his two runs this prep, the pick of them a close first-up fifth over 1400m at Rosehill. Missed the placings at his only try at 1900m but it was at the end of a prep. Very fit now and looks ready to win. FAY'S ANGELS (2) has disappointed in a couple of Saturday races recently. Won a similar race to this three back carrying just one kilo less. Big chance back in midweek company. CENTENARIO (4) showed a nice turn of foot to score over 1500m here recently. Ideally placed out to this journey at the third run back. KENMARE BAY (10) won a strong form race here at this trip two runs back. Very honest three-year-old who is sure to be about the money. CAPTAIN MAVERICK (1) turned in an eye-catcher last start at Warwick Farm and should be peaking third-up from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard race to close the card - leaning to Sly Boots.
