Delightful Journey and New Sovereign to take up the running at a strong tempo. Interesting race and inclined to side with NEW SOVEREIGN (6) who has the upside. He's a sparingly raced five-year-old who resumes off a jump-out win for the Price & Kent Jnr yard. He won two in a row to start last campaign having always promised a fair bit, and gets Shinn on from a good draw here. Tipping he's ready to go. IMPENDING LINK (4) is racing well, just finding one better at his past couple. He was no match for impressive winner Stylish when last seen but that form is strong and he should be afforded every chance from a good gate. CASTLE ON HIGH (5) resumed beating subsequent winner Kira at Bendigo. His form last time in reads well for this and with luck from the inside gate he'll be flashing late. ROGUE ROCKER (1) is going well without winning, back slightly in class for this. Each way. TRUFFLE FINDER (8) was a solid winner last time and could measure up. SUGGESTED PLAY: New Sovereign to win.
