Shrewsbury Road, Tavistock Dancer and Rosso can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. THE CUNNING FOX (2) comes back to the flat as one of the best jumpers in the land at the moment. Ignoring that, his run over this track and trip on the flat two back was good behind Bluestone in a stronger affair than this, beaten 1.5 lengths. No issue with him staying strongly and he can fight out the finish. DASHWOOD (1) was close up in a messy finish at Sandown Lakeside when last seen, placing prior on testing going at Mornington. He drops in class for this and with early luck coming across he can take plenty of catching. ROSSO (5) presents third up having improved nicely second up at Geelong. This is his first Australian campaign having shown plenty of promise in Ireland and he's open to plenty more improvement. BELLAKAI (10) struggled last time in a stronger race but had been coming along well prior and is in the mix. PIPLUP (13) was solid last time out and another rise in trip should suit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to The Cunning Fox.
