King Of Minto has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. DE FORZA (5) just missed the placings when resuming but the form he showed in his first campaign was good enough for a race like this. Strips fitter second-up from the spell, draws the inside marble and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Plenty to like about his prospects. ECCLESTONE (1) is one from one over this track and trip and gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination. Can find the winners' circle. KING OF MINTO (6) looked handy saluting at Beaudesert on debut and will have taken some confidence from that first-up victory. Has earned his shot in town now. ANSON BAY (2) resumes here but has tuned up for this with a recent trial win and can run a big race while fresh. HOFFMAN (3) rounds out the selections. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with De Forza.
