Pace strong with Grand Rose and Meisho Koshi leading with Grand Forest nearby. GRAND ROSE (2) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at this track. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely drawn and sure to go well. GRAND FOREST (9) is resuming from a spell of four-and-a-half months and having his first run for the Isao Nagakura yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Himeji over 1400m. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SHIMANO DIAMOND (6) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1400m at this track. Should be winding up late again. CROWN OCEAN (1) has been out of the money of late including last time out when fourth over 1400m here. Strong contender on her best form.
