That followed a win at Ohi at the previous outing. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Norifumi Mikamoto is a key engagement. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. SEA SERPENT (3) finished sixth last start, beaten 6 lengths, over 1600m at Kawasaki. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring seven times from 11 starts. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Likely to feature. POLYGON WAVE (7) proved too strong two runs ago at Ohi. Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1600m at Ohi, beaten 8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. AI GOLD (6) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Funabashi over 1200m. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to turn things around.
