Mrs Archibald should spear straight to the front of the small field. KIKO (1) resumes here with form that stacks up well. She only had the one run last time in, sent out at $8 in a much stronger affair at Flemington. She doesn't win many because of her racing pattern and given she only has a short, sharp sprint, however 1000m from a middle gate here looks an ideal scenario for her. BELLA CINQUE (4) comes a fair way back in grade having struggled in a BM84 at Caulfield last time out. Her run here two back when narrowly beaten in a BM74 reads well and she should get a nice trailing position here. TAKEKO (2) resumes. She's a promising mare for the Begg yard who are very good with these sorts of horses especially. She's won a jump out leading in, just whether 1000m is on the shorter side for her is a slight query. BONNIE AMORE (6) is coming off a tough win at Pakenham Synthetic and can measure up, similarly SIOUX SPIRIT (3) is progressing well and a chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kiko to win.
