Moderate tempo headed by Queen Card. BIG HIP ROOF (9) turned in a better effort to finish third last start, beaten 1.3 lengths over 850m at this track. Well placed and is a major contender. ALVIA (12) was in the money two starts back at Morioka Dirt but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Morioka Dirt over 1400m. Nicely placed to turn things around. JUZCAR (8) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was in contention on the turn before being beaten 8 lengths into fourth over 1400m at this track. Strips fitter and can go on to take this out. KAUNEUS (7) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Niigata Dirt, beaten 26 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
