Plenty of pressure primarily from Puff, Buggy Whip and Grand Central. BUGGY WHIP (10) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win when resuming last start by 4 lengths over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. PUFF (8) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 2.25 lengths back in fourth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Has a win and five minor placings at this journey from eight starts and is right in this. PLUM DANDY (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.75 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. PURNA CHANDRA (12) improved last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
