Good pace from Ryuno Tabuk, Love And Like and Ilana. CLARINET SONATA (3) made a nice return last time out to finish second and beaten only a neck over this course and distance. Has a win and two minor placings from four starts at this track and trip. Expected to be in the finish. VASEUX REINE (7) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1800m at Niigata Dirt, finishing fourth and beaten 1.1 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. KYOEI FREUDE (8) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 1600m at this track, finishing second and beaten one length at $37.10. One of the better chances. HOSHINI NEGAIO (2) registered her first win when resuming last start over 1400m at this track, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Kosei Miura was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
