Toreador to take up the running at a moderate tempo. TOREADOR (1) simply didn't handle the shifting surface here last time out but prior to that had posted five consecutive runner-up finishes. Knocking on the door of a maiden victory and strikes a very winnable contest here. Worth another chance and happy to concede that to him. CASTERLY ROCK (7) has placed three from three over this mile journey and is usually thereabouts. Top-three aspirations in the right sort of race for him. DURBAN HARBOUR (2) is improving with racing this time in and may earn some minor money. SLUGWORTH (6) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Toreador to shed the maiden tag.
