Strong tempo with Spangle Fortune, Red Majesty and Mister Dapper leading the way. MISTER DAPPER (1) sat up on the speed and got the job done as a $2.60 chance here last start and has had a quiet trial since that 2L victory. The form out of that race has worked out well and this shapes similarly despite the wider alley. Can sit up on the speed again and bring up back-to-back wins. FORTUNE BOY (4) ran over the top to score an impressive win at this track and trip 49 days ago and his latest effort was very good under Purton, who sticks with him from that trial. The inside draw may see him closer in the run and he still has plenty of upside. Can repeat the dose without surprising. FIGHT TIME (13) finished behind Mister Dapper last start at this track and trip and gets in extremely light after the claim of Britney Wong. May be looking for the class drop, though his form stacks up in this field and he's right in the mix. PEARL OF PANG'S (14) didn't have the best of luck at a crucial stage last start when up to the mile for the first time. Can be in the finish yet again.
