Good speed from Kanetoshi Bloom booting up to hold the fence while Little Hapi and Thrilling Chase pressure. LITTLE HAPI (12) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 3.5 lengths over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt to make it three wins from three starts. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. LE CHEVAL D'OR (8) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 3 lengths from the winner in third over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. HIRONO LA MER (3) has enjoyed a let-up of five weeks since he won when resuming over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, scoring by 2 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and another big run will not surprise. MEISHO SOTA (7) resumed over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by half a length. Record at this trip is excellent and he can measure up again.
