Plenty of pace from Sympatheia, Cosmo Adirato and Win Iolite vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. MONDO DELL'AMORE (1) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1600m at this track, clocking in 0.8 lengths from the winner in the Gr 1 NHK Mile. Huge class drop today. Looks a bit too good for these. SYMPATHEIA (7) resumed last start over this journey at this track and scored by one length. Has a terrific record here with two wins and one placing from three starts. Sure to run well. SMART WEISS (16) last appeared on October 20 when a good fourth over 1600m at Kyoto, beaten 1.2 lengths, which was his only run of the campaign. Definite top-three chance. SUCCESS AI (14) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten one length, over 1400m at Kyoto. Heart Kameda stays aboard. Deserves respect.
