Solid tempo set by Maser Kic and Roza. SHINY ROCK (2) has scored at his last three starts, most recently by 6 lengths over 1400m at this track as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with four wins from five starts. Top chance again. GROSSER BAR (8) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is perfectly placed to score. ROZA (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 31 starts. Was again denied last start when she found one better over 1400m at this track. Worth noting Masatoshi Yamamoto goes aboard. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. MASER KIC (4) held on well to finish second last time out over 1400m at this track after leading for much of the way. Should backers a sight again.
