After consecutive runner-up finishes the aptly named DOUBLE WHAMMY (5) broke the maiden status here last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Drops back slightly in trip here and should be hitting the line with gusto. Goes on top of DARK GLEAM (2) who may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome at the latest effort but go on the strong win here when resuming. Can bounce back and that fresh form puts him right in the game against these. MR O'REILLY (1) has won over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the spell.
