Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Gerel. GEREL (6) was an impressive winner last time over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, leading throughout and putting 5 lengths on her rivals. Toshiya Yamamoto has been the pilot at her last four wins. Well placed and should be in the finish. TAKAMAKI FIVE (4) took advantage of a low draw last time and stalked the lead before going on to score by 0.8 lengths over 1600m at this track. Will be tough to rein in again. BORDEAUX DAGUERRE (3) returns after nine weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1400m at Ohi. Among the chances while fresh. KOKKURISAN (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
