He is likely to race on the speed from his good draw of two and he can return to winning ways. DANTONFROMSANDTON (3) is better than his last start run over 1160m at Turffontein. He won a good race over 1200m at the Vaal. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and if seeing out the 1600m, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. SOLDIER'S EYE (5) drew off at the finish when winning over this trip on the Turffontein Inside course, eight weeks ago. Three of her four career victories have come over this distance. She is in a good space and should run another honest race. LEGAL COUNSEL (10) has two wins and one placing from five starts this campaign. Found one better last start at Greyville All Weather over 1400m after being racing in the leading division. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take race this out.
