Plenty of pace established by War Talk, Black Frost and Magic Surprise, with Miss Danon close at hand. FORTRESS OF FIRE (4) is better than his last two starts. His debut victory over this distance at Scottsville, catches the eye. Raymond Danielson retains the ride and if putting his best foot forward, it would not be a shock to see him in the winner's enclosure. MASTER SILVANO (8) ran an encouraging race on debut over 1100m at Scottsville. He was green in running and stayed on at the finish. He would have come on from the run and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should pose a threat. WAR TALK (3) ran a fair race on debut over 1000m at Turffontein. She would have come on from the outing and should love the extra 200m on offer. GEORGE'S MAGIC (1) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at this track when he made late ground, Placed to advantage so expecting a big run.
