Insufficient early speed to generate more than a muddling tempo. The Hayes colt BACASH (10) looks set to get his maiden out of the way today, before moving on to bigger and better things. Bumped into some decent types as an earlier two-year-old, and has won a couple of trials leading into this for good measure. Looks to be the one. EXPULSION (11) resumed well at Flemington beaten 2.5 len by Miss Ole, and this shapes as a logical progression. Can win this. OCEANELLA (7) was close at Seymour in maiden grade last time and she can make her presence felt again today in similar company. WEIGHTLESS (8) next best after a runners-up effort at Mornington in the wet last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: All roads lead to BACASH (10) in this one.
