Genuine tempo with Alpine Thunder to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. ANYWAYS ROXIE (6) is ready to win and comes back to the turf on a quick backup. Rates best and is proven third-up. ALPINE THUNDER (8) led and found more like his best narrowly missing in a CL4. Won his only third-up outing and has 3kg weight relief at this level. FURNEAUX (1) was quickly on track winning a 68. He can use an inside barrier and the top hoop stays aboard. Briefly freshened he will get every chance to go back-to-back. RIGOLETTO (4) has been mixing trips and form. He'd been right in it at best, but has to bring his A-game. TURK BOY (5) resumes seeking the hat trick and flies fresh.
