Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Shinhidaka Gold, Hakusan Miracle and Win Kirara prominent. SHINHIDAKA GOLD (10) ran below expectations last time out when 11th over 1800m at Fukushima. Placed two in a row prior to that failure. On-pacer who is too good to dismiss after one bad run. HAKUSAN MIRACLE (8) is close to a win placing at last couple, the latest finishing a half a length second at Niigata and drops in the weights for this. Has a high cruising speed. Will prove tough to beat. COSMO MAGALLANICA (16) finished fourth over 1800m at Tokyo when resuming last start, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Strips fitter and can feature. AL HAYL FORT (2) is back after a break of 12 weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished seventh over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
