Not expecting much speed here in a race devoid of on-pacers. CANICULE (1) is back from a spell of six months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1800m at this track. Excellent record here with two wins and two placings. Sure to make her presence felt. TAIKI LAUGHTER (7) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 2000m at Nakayama. Expect him to play a major role. SATONO WILLE (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 1600m contest at Nakayama four weeks ago. The engagement of Kosei Miura is a positive move. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. AIM FOR ACE (8) was beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth over 1800m at Hanshin at his latest appearance. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
