Expecting Lookacrossthewater to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. LOOKACROSSTHEWATER (13) having her fourth career run and looks close to a win. Kept fresh for this after tiring late when a solid fourth over 900m at Wellington. Blinkers and lugging bit go on and sure to be thereabouts. DE RAZILLY (12) is a filly by Tassort out of Extension on debut for the Nick Olive stable. Ran a creditable second at her only trial over 900m at Canberra. Finds a nice race to kick off with the claim. Respect. GIZA (8) returns for her fourth prep after showing improvement last time in. Back without a trial and race experience should take her along way here from the draw. ROCAS GRANDES (5) returns from a lengthy break and gets the winkers added. Has shown ability in a handful of runs and can sprint well fresh with the one trial under his belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 13,12,8,5.
