ZOUPER FUND (3) is a progressive type who has come back well, winning his maiden comfortably fresh at Ballarat before a good closing second at Cranbourne in this grade last time. He's been placed well again here and with any luck from a wide draw, the well bred gelding can get the job done. NEW YORK STAR (10) was heavily backed to break her maiden at Cranbourne second up, scoring at $1.55. She's a speedy type who will be in this for a long way. NASRAAWY (1) was given a good ride by 4kg claimer Olivia East to score last time out and that weight relief will be helpful again here.
