Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo.
GEEGEE AUNTY JESS (3) ran a much improved race fresh up when finishing third here nearly 2 weeks ago. She is likely to push forward early on, and with added fitness, she could be hard to peg back. Stick with her. SKELMORLIE (5) was thereabouts in 3 starts in Victoria to start this prep and has had a freshen up since joining the Adam Trinder stable. She will find the company here more to her liking, and can take this out. EXPOSTAR (1) was unlucky on debut before being put aside to mature. He is resuming from a long break, and with a couple of trials under his belt, he can make his presence felt fresh up. ZANZI (8) has been showing promise at the trials and will be making her debut from a good gate with the winkers on for the first time. Watch closely. VIXEN'S MOON (7) has a perfect inside draw for her debut, and she did win her only trial on this surface late last month. She can make a positive impact at her first time to the races. SUGGESTED PLAY: Skelmorlie each way.
