Looks to be plenty of pace with A Shin Policy and Tres Mignon battling for the lead. MEISHO NOBUKA (7) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 2000m at Chukyo. Hasn't won for a long time but gets her chance. TRES MIGNON (1) finished 6 lengths away in 11th last time out over 1600m at Chukyo when first up from a spell. Steps up in journey today. Capable of sharp improvement. CROWD SAIL (4) has not appeared since he finished sixth over 1800m at Tokyo on February 1. Makes plenty of appeal as his best figures stack up nicely. RED IRVINE (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Nakayama over 1600m. Can play a prominent role if on-song.
