Sun Calypso should spear straight to the front of the small field. RYUNO NAPOLEON (1) reunites with Toshiki Yamamoto after scoring with ease over 1400m at Mizusawa last time. Should camp just off the leaders. Will prove tough to beat. PINK NO BARA (6) is a distance specialist who was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 18 lengths into fifth. This doesn't look as hard so she is likely to play a big role. SUN CALYPSO (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 4 lengths from the winner in second over 1600m at Mizusawa after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. TAKAMAKI FOUR (4) was in the money two starts back at Mizusawa but couldn't back it up last time. Finds a nice race and can atone.
