Expecting Special Plan to lead Stay Astern at just a moderate tempo.
SPEED BUBBLE (2) missed the kick and failed to recover over 1190m at Narrogin last start. Races well here and this distance sees him at his best. Ready to win again with Galati back aboard - he has won two from two partnering the gelding. DAIYAMONDO (5) came from near the tail to get up for third last time out over the mile at this track. Up in class and back in trip which isn't ideal, but in a race of few chances she is a definite contender. DARK MIST (6) was first-up from a nine-week break when a close fifth over 1628m here recently. Query coming back in trip but should be competitive with the light weight. ARCHER COUNTY (1) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and at his best can take care of these. SPECIAL PLAN (7) is worth another chance with the blinkers coming off. SUGGESTED PLAY: Speed Bubble to win.
