Solid tempo anticipated with Hatsukoi Cider leading the way. COUNTY FAIR (6) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 2000m at Hanshin after being prominent at the turn. Heading towards a maiden win. SHONAN AIBA (1) is a three-year-old filly by Shonan Bach out of Diagonal Cloth on debut for the Takahashi stable. One to keep close tabs on, particularly if popular with punters. MIDTOWN NIGHT (15) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 2000m at Fukushima after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ERICEIRA (5) is a three-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 1.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Fukushima. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
