Moderate tempo expected with Ruff likely to find the front over Chebici and Zariz No Water. NAGADEC (7) racing well this time in and proven at this track and trip. Almost seven weeks between runs when closing off for a solid second over 1650m at Moruya. Further improved now and has the talent to test this line-up. ZARIZ NO WATER (10) finding it hard to break through but keeps giving his all. Kept chasing when a sound fourth over 1460m at Queanbeyan. Races well here and not to be underestimated. RUFF (3) disappointed as fav when resuming with a plodding eighth over 1460m at Queanbeyan. Has a good second up record and the extra trip helps. KARUTA KING (11) in need of the run first up when a fading fourth at Moruya. Drops further in weight with the claim and worth thought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 7,10,3.
