Former Victorian SPELLMASTER (1) is having his first run for the new stable but should find this easier than what he faced down south. Tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. BADLIFEDECISION (9) has been thereabouts in all three runs this preparation and will strip fitter fourth-up from the spell. Gets plenty of weight relief with the claim and looms as the main danger. RELATIVES (8) has placed at her past three outings and is drawn to get a soft run in transit from gate two. Top-three aspirations. SCOTTVILLE SCOOTER (11) has placed two of three over this distance range and may feature first-up. ROCKETTO (4) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and any market support must be noted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spellmaster to return a winner.
