Moderate pace from Mikki Stardom taking it up with Rugger Queen and Mercy Run on his back. RUGGER QUEEN (7) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 1.75 lengths away in second over 1600m at Hanshin. Going better than most of these and has strong prospects. JAZZ (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5 lengths away in eighth over 1600m at Hanshin. A winner here at this distance. Strong prospects. MERCY RUN (1) wasn't far away first up last start when sixth over 1400m at this track. May appreciate the longer journey with that run under the belt. Sure to measure up. MIKKI STARDOM (9) showed early speed from a good draw last time and led until they straightened, eventually finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 2000m at Nakayama. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and should play a big role.
