Without a noted leader engaged Midnight Hustle may cross and take it up. VILLA ROYALE (14) is knocking on the door, placing in all three runs back from a spell. She put up a strong effort at Pakenham when last seen, working home well to get within half a length of the winner. Only needs to hold that form to go close here. MIDNIGHT HUSTLE (5) resumes. He showed promise in his initial campaign, second to the talented Soft Love on debut at Kyneton, also behind some nice types in two subsequent races. Can roll forward from out side and take catching. BOSSY STAR (2) resumes. He's managed to run third in five of seven starts, now with the Matt Laurie yard. There's ability there and he's won a jump out. UNRIDDLE (9) can resume with a good run if he brings his best while MISHIMA (6) wasn't far away fresh at big odds and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Villa Royale to win.
