GOING: N

Kevin Sharkie Maiden/Class 1 1650m

Track: AW     Rail: True.

Genuine tempo with Smart Artie and Mohnar up front. SMART ARTIE (3) was a deserving but overdue maiden winner of his penultimate start, and then was a touch unlucky when up in class at Launceston just over 3 weeks ago. He is having another attempt on a poly track, and from a good draw, he can bounce straight back into the money. On top. MOHNAR (8) has been steadily improving in each start back from a spell after making the move from Victoria earlier in the year. She is perfectly placed in the pole position, and her first local win is not far away. MISS PRIVATE (7) has been placed 3 times on this surface, and she has form over a mile. She can be hard to catch, but is worth the risk for some added value. THIN RED LINE (4) had a tough trip last time out and did well to finish third. His only win has been on the poly track here, and he has each-way claims again. IBUTHO (1) has been battling for some time but did finish runner-up in his penultimate start. He has been placed in both of his starts over the trip, so include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Smart Artie each way.
