Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Fun Together. SPIRIT OF PEACE (1) charged home late to finish third here 6 weeks ago and probably should have won had he not missed the start badly that day. He has done everything right in 3 quiet trials since then and is likely to be taken back from a wide draw here. If the gaps come at the right time before the home turn, then he can have the last say. HANDSOME BOMB (8) ran a much better race for fourth here just over 7 weeks ago and franked that run by finishing second in a recent trial. He has a nice swing in his draw this time, and can figure in the top 3. DAZZLING FIT (5) won a trial before flashing home late to finish second here over 1200m 4 weeks ago. He has since been in the money in another trial, and can go one better. AMAZING RUN (11) is better than his form suggests, and he has his best draw in some time. Zac Purton steps into the irons and the pair merits healthy respect. Don't risk him.
