Hot pace certain with That's My Baby, Izibulo and Hot Pearl keen to take up the running. RODEO DRIVE (2) stayed on well when fourth last time. She finished second in her only attempt over this course and distance. She is the best-weighted runner in this race and she may be the one to beat. KHETHIWE'S DESTINY (12) ran a good race when fourth in her last start over this course and distance. She would have come on from the run. The widest draw is the obvious concern, but with luck in the running can win. BASKED IN GLORY (4) just lasted when winning her last start over 1000m on the Turffontein inside course. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and if switching off early, she should be figuring in the finish. LOCK AND KEY (11) showed signs of needing her comeback run over 1400m at Kenilworth. She won on debut over this distance. She will strip a much fitter horse and with luck in the running she would not be a shock winner.
