Pace looks solid with Media World pressing forward from an outside draw, along with Candlewick. CANDLEWICK (13) exciting filly facing her stiffest test. Continued where she left off last prep with a gritty on pace victory over 1200m at Warwick Farm in a BM72. Bred to handle the conditions and drops in weight from a good gate. Goes close. ZEITUNG (5) raced without luck all prep and comes here in peak condition. Can sit a little closer from the inside gate and undefeated on a heavy track. No excuses here. GETAFIX (8) underrated gelding who deserves his chance in this contest. Total forgive from the wide gate on resumption when thirteenth against the older horses over 1200m at Randwick. Comes to hand quickly and assess on his strong Caulfield win last October over this trip and in these conditions. Value player. JUST PARTY (4) gelded over the break and proven at this level. Taken back from the gate and offered little when eighth in the G2 Hobartville over 1400m at Rosehill last February. Fitted with two solid trials and primed for this. MODELLA (14) nice filly with a ton of upside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 13,5,8,4.
