FARM FRESH (9) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being prominent at the turn to score by a neck as favourite over 1400m at Mizusawa. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to cope. CROWN HAWI (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth in a 1400m contest at Mizusawa two weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. UTENA (10) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over this journey at Mizusawa. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. STARLIGHT TAIL (11) turned in a better run last start, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 1400m at Mizusawa. No surprise to see him in contention.
