BEACH PAD (1) is a tough customer who won well here two starts back before a solid fourth at Oakbank over a longer trip. That effort suggests he’s still in form and finds a slightly easier assignment here. Expect him to be in the finish. PARTY CRASHER (10) ran a bold race to be narrowly denied at Oakbank last time over 1400m. He’s fitter now, and with Todd Pannell sticking, he’s a definite threat up in distance. DOCTOR ROBERT (9) next best, he has been consistent enough and his ratings fit in here.
