He has the pole position and can break through for that overdue first win. MAZIS (2) finished fifth fresh upon a heavy track at Doomben last time out and had won a trial before that. He will be spot-on for this assignment and will be suited by the step up to a middle distance for the first time. Stick with her on an each-way basis. CHAMPAGNE ROUGE (6) will be peaking third up from a spell, and the 1800m will suit her right down to the ground.
