Reasonable tempo with Bonfire Spark probably leading but a few others should keep her honest.
BELLE AFFAIR (8) failed to fire fresh up but did a few things wrong in the running. She won her first race here on debut. She has a good draw and can bounce back into the money. On top. MELO MELO KAVA (9) ended her 2 starts initial prep on a winning note here by well over 2 lengths. She has been tuned up for this with a recent trial win, and from her good draw, she will be ready to rumble fresh up. BONFIRE SPARK (2) dropped in grade and demolished her 4 other rivals at Beaudesert 8 days ago on a heavy track. She does seem to prefer the soft ground, and with similar conditions, she can double the dose. ESTRONDO (1) did not kick on as expected after running a bottler for second fresh up last prep and was put aside for a spell. His only win came here as a juvenile, and with more time to mature, he can show his true worth this year. The pole position will help him, and he is worth including in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Estrondo each way.
