Ryo Takamatsu who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be in the finish. GROSSER BAR (6) started at $3.40 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths at Mizusawa over 1400m after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ETERNAL RUBY (2) didn't fire over 1400m at Mizusawa last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run before. Nicely placed to make amends. POSITIVE SPIN (1) ran a better race last start, finishing 3 lengths away in fifth over 1400m at Mizusawa. Finds a nice race and can atone.
