Richanco is the likely leader at a keen tempo. BLACK ORA (8) made it 2 wins on the bounce this prep when scoring by nearly a length here 2 weeks ago. This field is not that much stronger, and with half a kilo less to carry, she can complete the hat-trick. ESPRIT GARCON (2) did not race up to expectations in 2 starts in the spring, he started as favourite on both of those occasions and will be better for having a spell. He comes to hand quickly, and if right, he will be hard to hold out. Use the market as your best guide. KEEP ITA MYSTERY (3) has been racing well at his level in his last 3 starts, and all 3 of his wins have been over 1000m. He is likely to settle back early on, and once the gaps appear, he can hit the line strongly. Each way. RICHANCO (7) made some solid progress last year and is resuming from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He won a recent Lark trial, and with the advantage of the pole position, he can give this a shake. SUGGESTED PLAY: Esprit Garcon each way.
