Anticipate a moderate tempo is a race devoid of recognised speedsters. I HAD A DREAM (1) has been trying to win a race for some time and was runner-up here 8 days ago over 1200m. He has a superior draw this time and can break through for an overdue win. CLASSIC CODE (6) was third fresh up at Esperance and then needed her last start here 15 days ago. With less time between runs, she can bounce straight back into the money. GEM'S MAN (2) is another long-time maiden who is resuming from a spell. It is hard to get a line on him, but this field is not strong, and any market confidence could be worth following. FIFTY WORDS (3) did not run a bad race fresh up here just over 2 weeks ago when finishing fourth. He strips fitter and is another who is worth including in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: I Had A Dream each-way.
